im just wondering how much use id get out of this thing, how much can it do? will it really do small gas welds?

Basically good for brazing/soldering. ALWAYS good to have extra tips for such stuff with a torch set-up.

There's not much brazing or soldering on a mini, if at all. If your into art's and crafts thats fine. On a mini you really need a mig.

On the mini, I have not done ANY, and, I NEVER said that I had, I just said it was always good to have such "extra equipment". :thumbsup:

Dont waste your money. You wont ever use it on a mini. MIG MIG MIG.

I got a mig with a tank for inert gas, really makes better welds than without, and less spatter but still easy to use mig.
