Thanks Matt,
They Azuza parts on the OldMiniBikes parts site are almost $100.00 more than another site called Go CartUSA. Do you know anything about that site and the quality of parts they sell? What length of chain do I need? Do you know what size wheel and tire the Roper frame uses?

4.10/3.50x6" in order for the scrub brake to work best.

Last week, keep checking... it was out of stock for a week or so before i ordered.

It popped back in stock and i fired the order away.

Reed, here is a pic of the Roper that I'm currently working on. As you can see, I used the Azusa front wheel on it, and you can see the way the jack shaft is set up. if you choose to go that route. Mine still has a ways to go, but its getting there.

Most annoying part of a roper build for me was the brakes i am no expert and i dislike the scrub brake and finding a disk brake setup i could handle myself and worked was difficult. Good luck:thumbsup:

I am the least technical guy on the OldMiniBikes, so I wont dazzle you with my lack of knowledge, but am in the process of rebuilding a Roper and have learned a lot in the last three weeks. First of all, Ropers have 1/2 inch axles, which can be as simple as fine thread grade 8 bolts (6" front, 8" back). OldMiniBikes and gokart world have great stuff, also look for deals on ebay. You want 6" wheels with 3.50 x4.10 x6 tires. Like already mentioned, this is a nice 1" tube frame, so you will need 1" grips ( most ore 7/8th). Great info if you search OldMiniBikes on how to hook up your throttle, Get some 7/8 tubing for the fold down footpegs that mount in those boxes on your frame. You already have a scrub brake, OldMiniBikes sells replacement aluminum ones that bolt right up. Feel free to private message me for any specific help. That is help finding parts, not the technical stuff.
