Montgomery Ward off of Craigslist...

Bought this today off of Craigslist...cheap!. Looks to be all original. Just missing the chain guard. 3 HP Tecumseh turns over with compression. Too cold to mess with it now. Didn't need another project, but could not pass up. I know it is a Montgomery Ward bike, but who made them?

Pre Wards was the CS-603 possibly :shrug: Butt ugly clutch guard.

Approximately 1975. Same bike is listed in the Montgomery Wards 1975 catalog. Yours is most likely a Wards bike since you have the 4 inch wheels. It looks like the CESTAD bike has 6 inch wheels in the brochure picture.
