Just picked this nice old survivor up today.

Montgomery Wards 323.

Looks to be complete, shy of the correct exhaust/muffler.

The small block gilsons just used the little 6-hole tecumseh mufflers on a 45º elbow. That's easy enough to find as is the missing switch -- the peg covers and grips will be a little harder but they're out there. Overall, nice find!

Are the grip covers the smooth untextured style, like they used on the Sears bikes?

Grips

Yes, I think some Birds used them, and also Trailhorse.

Peg covers

I was able to come up with the correct grips for this bike. They were on another bike I'm trying to sell.

I'm also going to send out the clutch cover to have a mold made of it, so fiberglass and carbon fiber copies are available for guys who have these bikes.

I just saw a wheel like that. Was wondering what it was for. Kinda looks like the drum brake is missing. Thats an awesome find!
