Need Info

I bought this mini about 7 years ago and just know getting around to doing something with it. What can you tell me about it?

The big question is it suppose to be a single speed or a 2 speed?

Welcome. It is a Sears and it very well could have had a 2 speed. It's a single speed the way it's set up now. But some where a two speed. Search Sears and Roper. There are quite a few out there.

Sorry if I am asking a stupid question but I am new to this. I thought all the Sears with the front shocks were 2 speeds.

That particular bike would have probably used a belt driven comet torque convertor. See the large tab thats welded to the frame that sticks up, also there should be 2 small holes on the rear frame upright on the same side. those are there to hold the large belt guard on. The jackshaft assy is correct with the exception that it has a sprocket where the driven would have gone.
