New Clones?

Ok< i got one of the new clones....... but before it got here... i ordered a header, new air filter, jet, and throttle hook up..... all from affordablegokarts.com............... will these parts all still work on my "new" styled motor?

throttle hook up no, air filter adaptor yes, headed might work ill look

its not hard to rig your own throttle with left over governer parts. Thats what i did

I just used agk's throttle hookup and I kept the stock rod (im keeping governor) and the everything else worked but I had to make my own cable anchor

If you kept the governer why did you need a new throttle setup?

because u still need stuff to hold your cable and a return spring etc. You can't just attach the end of your throttle cable to the throttle arm. Hey but if your taking the governor off you got all the parts already to make a good throttle linkage. Check out agk's website and scroll down on the "HOW TO" of throttle linkage. ok well i got the bolt on kit 1 and a throttle hookup kit....... can i still remove the govorner like you could on the old ones........

according to the guys over at 4cycle, you should be able too.

the new cam is supposed to have more lift now too.
