New member with Kawasaki MT1?

Hey everyone! Cleaning out my parents shed I stumbled upon this, Kawasaki MT1... I think? (feedback appreciated)
Joined this forum in hopes to eventually get this restored and running again.
My dad bought this brand new a longggg time ago. Original color was Orange.
The last I had it started was back in 1996 before I left for the military, and its been untouched in the storage shed since.
