OldMiniBikes customer support ? Nope.

Mostly talking about the people working Live Chat.
They say they will help you get in contact with a camshaft specialist twice in 2 days but 3 weeks later still nothing.

They say they will refund you but 4 days after they receive the product back nothing happens not even a response or an email.
They will just say they will get to it and not respond back only to rob you of $100.
It is an unused uninstalled product (camshaft). Can even SMELL it hasn't been used and can also see it hasn't been used.

i should've known better to buy from this company when their own employees can't even begin to help the customers. prooff.png 4 days since received.

Proof #2.. No refund given (my account statement and current date):
prooff2.png

i talked to Victor at OldMiniBikes live chat and he said he had to wait on approval for refund. Well..its been 4 days since the package has been received. i should have my refund by now.

Did they send the cam YOU ordered? Yes.

Take responsibility for your own actions. It isn't their fault you ordered something you didn't want. :eek:ut:

It was delivered to a PO box 2 business days ago, not 4. Read the return policy:

"Refunds for returns are processed within 2 business days of receipt of the item. It may take a few more days before the refund posts to your account. This is based on the policies of your bank or credit card."

Still would help if they communicated that.

OldMiniBikes is in PA.
You are in TX.
Went to NC.
I am thinking it might be because they haven't got confirmation from the third party vendor that it was returned or it is in process. But OldMiniBikes will never leave anyone hanging out to dry. I wouldn't worry too much unless you need the money that bad. Then I would call and not "chat".

You bought parts before researching. The wrong parts. Started a thread here trying to get an atta-boy for the uninformed decision you made, while "testing" the experience of members here. Now you're whining that you were "robbed" because they didn't drop every thing and help you fix your mistake. Wait. Fix the too-tall gearing on your well-pipe kartastrophe instead of wasting the WEEKEND bothering the grown-ups.

xBrent92,
With a join date of May 2016 you are a rookie on this forum and are thus ignorant of the STELLAR customer service record OldMiniBikes Warehouse has had for MANY years. My son and I have purchased from OldMiniBikes at least 10 times- How many purchases have YOU made? They have demonstrated some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced in over 15 years buying from many different online vendors. To start a thread and chastise their overall customer service based on your one puny experience is unjustified. In baseball we refer to actions like this as "bush league".

Well said Michael  I have been buying from OldMiniBikes since they first opened and have spent way more than your $100 and have never had anything but the best customer support  I have had orders missing part that were sent the very next morning, I have had parts with long back order waits and got e-mails to inform me of that and I have always had the best service from the people I have talk to directly on the phone

If you knew what a small hard working company this was, you'd have a better scope. 100's of orders per day go out without issue. No one is perfect but I can assure you customer service is their top priority.

i just wish i was ever able to be in contact with the "cam specialist" i was supposed to be linked to weeks ago. i had to make a decision and after i ordered and started really researching into cam aspects is when i realized i made the wrong decision. Before the order was even shipped i asked Anderson if it was shipped yet so i would be able to exchange it for a better one and 2 days later i get an email saying it was shipped with zero contact with anyone else.

Just my experience.

Not sure what you were expecting, I have done the same thing -bought parts that I thought would work and then realized they were not correct. I just sent them back and ate the shipping and learned a valuable lesson.
Research takes time and can be exhausting sometimes. It sucks to be wrong but we are all human and make mistakes. Including - companies that sell products, and their customers.
Sounds like you are acknowledging your mistake but are unwilling to forgive theirs, sounds kinda hypocritical to me. But I don't know all the details of the transaction so it's hard to say with certainty.

I have had great dealings with OldMiniBikes Warehouse, received emails that products would be delayed or out of stock, etc.
Whatever problems you had are definitely the exception and not the rule, in my experience.
Sorry you had a bad time and hope everything works out.

Okay, let me clear things up.

The issue was the camshaft actually came from DynoCams headquarters and not OldMiniBikes Warehouse.

So that being said i basically had to get OldMiniBikes to relay a call to DynoCams for me for my refund.

Thanks OldMiniBikes. Could've been easier though lol.

Could have been easier?Yep sure could have been, had you done your research before you ordered.Easier had you not started a thread slamming OldMiniBikes when they were not the problem. Then no apology for your errors...Don't look for me selling you anything.

i recently tried using the OldMiniBikes live chat window to find a part.
they were in chat with me in less than 5 mins,
and then spent a good 30 plus mins actively searching the database.
then they sent me a email the next day about my search, with a detailed explanation.

im not really sure how they could make Their service any better than that.
Props to OldMiniBikes.

i had to make a decision and after i ordered and started really researching into cam aspects is when i realized i made the wrong decision.
