A 1970 Rupp Chopper made in Mansfield, Ohio. I have a original 1970 brochure showing the bike in a orange color.

I think we are both correct because the 1969 model is the same frame but Rupp called it a Rascal. I forgot about that Tom.

Looking further into the brochures in 1968 the frame was called a C-220 (CUB) and if you look at the Bikes the 1968-69 don't use the same clutch guard as the 1970. The frame for 1970 has the bracket for the guard welded to the rear inside down tube. Which his has that bracket making it a 1970 Chopper. Here is a picture of a 1968 model. I don't have a scanned picture of a 1969 but they are the same.

Here is a quick picture from my 1970 brochure showing it called a "Chopper". When you think chopper it should look like a chopper but who knows what Rupp was thinking at the time. I don't think Rupp ever made a true chopper as far as I can see from all my brochures I have collected. We all learn something new on here everyday I guess.

Cool, I got me a chopper! Thanks for the info. I am glad its a factory bike. I thought I might have been homemade. Sounds like I might have something a bit unique. Awesome.
