Original 71 Rupp Roadster 2 Windber ready!

I have an all original 71 Rupp Roaster 2 in blue. It has new cables, TQ spring & washer, tire tubes, oil stick and light bulbs from Black Widow. Everything is 100% working order and starts on 2nd pull. The complete bike has been given a new life.

It's a great reliable campground rider!

Original Rupp Trails, seat, HS40 motor w/slant carb. Missing seat reflectors, Title and tank has a few dents.

I have detailed photo's and video riding for those that PM and are serious buyers. And I will think about a trade for a original Powell if someone had an extra one around and didn't have a Rupp yet.


I will not ship! However, if you have someone from Wisconsin that can hook you up and deliver to Windber for you. I'm cool with that.

Fast question for you....All original? If it has new parts on it doesn't that mean it isn't original? And what do you mean lights from a Black Widow? They didn't have any. Thanks for answering in advance. And it is a slick looking bike by the way.:thumbsup:

When I say all original it's just a coined term for me personally. I say because it has a lot of original parts. Hardware, seat, light housing, harnesses, motor, trail tires, clutch etc.

Usually that stuff has been stripped off these bikes.

I'm not saying NOS so cut me a little slack.

Maybe instead of saying original I should say complete. Although it's missing the reflectors.

The head lamp , brake cables, clutch spring/washer, throttle cable and tail light assembly were replaced with new from black widow. To me those were wear parts keeping the bike still original enough to call original to me. Here are a couple more pics before going on CL

I was riding today. It is a fun bike that for sure.
