Over riding the governor???r

Instead of removing the governor why not just override it? I used a wire and bent it to go through the hand throttle on the motor and hooked the other end to the governor lever.The throttle cable pulls on the hand throttle thus overriding the governor and it seems to work fine. Any problems with this set up?? Your response?:hammer:

If air vane gov, not a problem.
If mechanical, gov internals should be removed.
These parts are easily overspun and could possibly fly apart.

the reason to remove it is to stop from tearing up the internals
