Powell Challenger Rear Brake Assembly

I need the rear foot brake assembly for my Powell Challenger restore.

I have been trying to track down a man who was said to be the buyer of the Powell stock but so far have run into brick walls. I was a Powell dealer in Long Beach in 1972 through 1974 . Parts for a Powell have been almost non existing but I will still be looking. If your band is still OK a truck brake shop that relines truck brakes may be able to re do the band. we have a shop here in Portland called Friction Supply and Ott's friction supply so you should be able to find a similar shop there in LA . The friction material is actually on the drum on mine, and the brake lever part is made of some type of spring steel.

The material inside the hub still looks good. I am missing foot mechinism. If anyone has a close up picture I could maybe get one fabricated.

Does anyone know what type of belt clutch was used? I am missing that as well.

I can get a close up picture of my brake and it is nice and clean it should be good enough to view and I can take some measurements of the arm.
