What year kart is it? I have an '08 ASW Carbide. Rides strong but I hate the ASW parts website.

A TAV is a Torque-A-Verter. It is what Comet calls their torque converters.
A TAV is really the same thing as a torque converter.

Yes, the 280 cam from NRracing but it costs $100... You can read the description on the website above. It talks about low end torque and 7500 rpm.

I would look at cam #230 - 0611 from NR racing its $38. Has .230 lift and 230* duration. Its spins to 6500 RPM. Your going to loos a little low speed torque with any cam this big but if you get the compression up to were they recommend it will help a lot compared to just dropping in the cam. This cam recommends 10:1 compression.
