Is there a lighting coil available for the preditors?

Yes the clone or honda coils fit. The problem is getting the correct flywheel.

I have seen posts where people say they have used the Baja set up but that is real questionable since it's a clone taper ...

i believe the kohler lighted coil flywheel will work with the preditor 212. you would have to pm my couisin chatten63 to get the part number......:thumbsup:
also kohler makes couple different amp coils.....:thumbsup:
think it's a 3 and 10 amp...?

The kohler is only for the Lifan hemi predator The others have a different taper.

I'm going to do a Predator Hemi swap on my CT200U-EX and would like to use the lighting coils and flywheel from the Hisun 196. I've read the coils are a bolt on swap but the flywheel has a different taper. I'm wondering if a GX200 clone crank would fit the Predator and allow the flywheel swap. Anybody know or tried it ? Any other issues like ignition maybe ?

The crank will work but you will need a Honda/clone rod and the stroke is different .. so unless you are planning a major overhaul I wouldn't recommend it

OK - thank you! I see OldMiniBikes has the Kohler flywheel 17 025 30-S which I think will fit the Predator Hemi crank (?) Also think the Hisun 196 lighting coils will work with it on the Hemi (?) Am wondering about ignition timing - I think the Kohler flywheel on the Hemi engine would need an offset key (?)
