Probably the weirdest HS40 Problem by Far..

ok, so i was extremly frustrated with my RUPP Hustler so i put it in the shed, so i went to investigate further, evrything checks out perfect,

but heres the weirdo part...

Evry 3, 5 minute runs i can do the oil is Black,

on a CJ8 stock plug the thing can idle all day, but dies when throttle is applied,

on a BM6A plug (the NGK replacment) it can run full tilt for about 2 minutes, then it bangs hard and feels like its seized and stops running till it cools down,

on both plugs when i take them out, they are not wet, they are Pitch black though, a brand new plug after 3 runs is BLACK!!

and the exaust is always smokey wich isnt charecteristic of a 4-stroke, so whats going on, the valves seem to be head on,


and on a side note, whe i took off the head of the engine, it is very very clean in there, the valves are perfect, but the piston has chips taken out of it around the circumfrence of it, but the sleeve has no marks,,

Thats not Right:hammer::confused:

any help is apreciated,

it does it with the air filter off and on, but i have to admit, it could be the stock one :thefinger:

but even with it off it does it,
