Here you go Big Wheel fans !
I have never documented a build before, so this will be a first for me. I bought this bike on eBay in June 6, 2010 for $299.00 (Buy it now) It was about 3 hours away in El Cajon, Ca. Its pretty much complete except for the Gas Tank, Lights, and probably the stock exhaust ?
Build Goal:
Get it back to showroom condition, but also a funtional rider
Retrofit the mechanical disc brakes with hydraulic ones
Get it registered Calif. off road and ride ! :thumbsup:
I will add photos as this build progresses......

Looking good. I'm definately keeping a close eye on this thread since I have the same bike in need of some work to get it back to original.

Smallbore, I got your message. Thanks for the heads-up. Let me know if there is anything of reference you might want from my bike though yours is more original. I made a similar chain guard to the one you have but I still need to buy dirtbike handle bars similiar to your originals and then work on the tank. Nice find on the one your working with.
