Well, I think I bit off more than I could chew on this project.... This thing need's new everthing! I got the bike tore down and sent off to the sandblasters and I'll be doing the powdercoating (no pics yet) I did find an original rupp HS40 engine for free in darn near mint running condition as the original engine had a broken cam and block.
I'll have pics of the new engine later.
I did get to ride it before I tore it down though! was fun and brought back old memories lol.
About the only thing good on this bike is the handlebars,frame,engine,tank and jackshaft/TC assembly. The rest is garbage so I pretty much have to start from scratch...:mad2: The drive clutch was worn out so bad that it wore holes through the sheaves, This thing was ridden hard.
Will get alot more pictures later as I get more time to work on it.
