I received this Ruttman Wild Goose in a trade last weekend.
Since the restoration it has not had any gas put in it. I was told the 5hp Tecumseh engine was completely gone thru and it has a new carb on it. Both the frame and engine have been professionally painted (not powder coated). The wheels have been tumbled, not sure what that means but that's what I was told by the previous owner. Rear sprocket has been chromed.
Frame has a couple small chips in the paint, but nothing too noticeable.
Since I've had it I replaced the pull rope with a new one, hooked the brake band up properly, replaced the gas line and put a stainless steel chain on it.
All it really needs is a set of fenders, Ruttman clutch guard decal and Ruttman engine plate tag (has the two pin holes in engine plate).
I will have this at the swap meet in Livonia, MI next weekend at Mathison Supply, if it doesn't sell on the forum before then.
Asking $800.
