Cat 400X/R4001, (long chain guard, drum brake).

I like the very creative skateboard seat.

looks like a 400 series, but I think it originally had a disk brake.

Like maybe a Dominator with Eliminator forks? It's one of those odd models. Cat was known for having inconsistency between models in the same line

The leading edge of the engine plate has the serial number. The first #‘s designate the year. 9=1969, 70=1970, etc.

Oh it’s probably buried under the layers of paint. Thanks guys for all your info any more details Would be cool. We have a Honda wh20x motor that runs excellent. That’s all that is known since we just started it up and are just learning about small engines.
