Suzuki GT 550 triple cylinder

I remember somewhere on the web some guy made a minibike with a Kawasaki triple cylinder engine on it and I remember thinking that was the the coolest mini I have ever seen and no dought it was very fast

well today a fiend at work offered a Suzuki GT 550 engine to me for FREE this is a triple cylinder air cooled 2 cycle I think it makes about 50hp stock maybe it would fit in that mini drag bike I took apart a few years ago?

does anyone know where I can find a picture of that Kawasaki mini?

I got the engine tonight and its a virtural basket case 75% tore apart and froze up

I guess my first challenge will be to free it up

at a glance I would say that it will need a tune up kit complete gasket kit new rings a good hone job and Im sure it will need more as I dig into it

both of those bikes are insane and the frames and wheels are to small in my opinion but they are cool and a lot of work

They are along the lines of what I've been threatening to do with my F4i engine, except I want to use a larger frame like the one in MDB's avatar. I think the 110hp and 50lbs of torque might be too much for a Doodlebug. :evil_laughter:
