T555 Terrain Cycle Question

Hi: My name is Bob & I recently purchased a montgomery ward t555 terrain cycle. Can anybody tell me how the rear hubs come off the rear axle Are they screwed on or are there splines that have to be tapped off. Also my rear axle is two pieces with a peerless 150 differential. Isn't the rear axle suppose to be 1 piece?

Post a pic. They need a the differential to turn. Some hubs are welded.is there a problem with your bearings or differential. All mine have the Peerless 100 diffs. Just unbolt them and take out the retaining pin and the axles slide out. You can replace the differential housing if the gears are broken or warn.
