tec h50 gas tank relocation

need advice on how i can lower the fuel tank on a tec h50. any one make a lower mounting bracket? will this effect fuel flow if lowered, motor will not fit in my frame with out do this. thanks

Just remember the outlet on the tank has to be higher than the inlet on the carb or gravity has a tough time making it flow.

There's a company called Allied Leisure Corp., they used to be Recreational Leisure, they sold lots of Lil' Indian kits and parts. I was just readin' an old catalog of theirs, I saw this plate and I remembered your question. It's called a Tank Lowering Plate, part # 1207600, it's listed on their website. This plate drops the tank 1", like Cheezy says, make sure your outlet will still be above your carb inlet.

If you are using a diaphram carb it will work. Or you could put a pulse fuel pump on it and put the tank where ever you want.
