Just because im curious,can anyone tell by model and serial # what hp.

also when did tecumseh start using electronic ignition?

It does not show that engine in my newer Tecumseh manual. Do you have any pictures and what did it come off of, Its something made by Sears by the numbers. You may have to measure the bore and stroke.

my book says its a h35-45115f thats out of the tecumseh master parts manual so its a 35 not sure about the electronic ignition but you can update and add it

you should be able to go to your local small engine parts dealer and they will sell you the replacement part that replaces the points I try to keep the points for period correct motors + I think its kinda pricy
