Tecumseh 7hp?

I got this in a rupp project..Its supposed to be a tecuseh 7hp?..Can anyone confirm that is what it is?

Is it a good engine?..Can it be hotrodded?..The kid I got it from has bypassed the governor..Are the rod and flywheel safe on these at higher rpms?

does the shroud have any # eather on the top by the head bolts or on a rivited plate on the side

Ok here is what I found stamped into the shroud near the head bolts
H50-65497 S SER 5224D
