Tecumseh carb question

got a tecumseh with a diaphram carb on it.On the
left side are two adjustment screws,what are they?
Any hints for adjusting them?


Also how can i go from Craftsman id# to Tecumseh# to tell
what this engine is?

That modle number is 45592r
Those screws are the main adjustment screw and the Idle mixture screw.

Tim,

ive never worked with one of these carbs.What do i set the screws at to start adjusting the carb?The only way it runs now is with the rear screw all the way in.I know it just needs adjusting.
