Tecumseh H35

Murray track 2 racer with Tecumseh 3.5 power sport.
I was looking into replacing the fuel line and adding a cut off valve and filter and noticed how the fuel line runs right up against the engine. Will this have an effect on the fuel, it has to get hot. Has anyone rerouted the line before?

That's what I was wondering if anyone has luck running it elsewhere.
Performance would have to better if you could keep the fuel cooler.

But it's inside the blower housing next to the flywheel which has fins and spins incredibly fast to cool down these air cooled engines. Id imagine it doesnt get as hot as you think right on that particular spot.

Ya might actually see 3.6HP with cooler fuel! It will not add up to anything. Run it where it was, and go ride the wheels off that thing!
