Hi

does anyone know the part number for a replacement tecumseh short block for a hs40 engine that went on a rupp. I know they are not made but I cant find the part number. Any help thank..

As long as you get one with no electric start option you should be all good. :shrug: they are all the same HS40 block.. Rupps had a 3 inch crank and ball bearing backing plate.. painted black, big Rupp sticker on the front.... But the block is a block is a block.. :shrug:

I believe my R2 has a replacement short block. There is a tag on it with these numbers: SBH-263A and under that number 2148F. It has the correct Rupp crank and I doubt there are any of these around anymore.
