The Harbor Freight wheel

I have used lots of them, probably more than anyone else. Three issues you will have.

The tires are junk and will wear out very fast, many of the kids tell me they had to replace them daily when they rode a lot. 6-8 hours of riding on asphalt is about it.

The center hub will break. We were welding them before they were ever used, that did help a little, but they still tore out the center.

The bearings will fail. We generally would replace them before the wheels were put on the bike. They did not last as long as the tires did.

BUT, they are cheap.

All of the problem you mentioned looks to be why they won't work.
Tires are plastic.
Hubs are paper thin.
Bearings loose before we even buy them.
So it looks like a hell no.....

I buy tires & tubes at Harbor but the "knobby" ones, not those "complete" tire/hub combos for hand trucks

The tires alone are not plastic feeling or looking...actually the tires on my avatar pic are from HF
