The same categories they always use. Always enjoyed the build off, I like having the deadlines seems like the only way I get things done. Im in if we have one

I used to follow the build-offs, when I first joined, but never contributed.
If someone’s willing to run it, I’d enter.
This CCS chopper would be my entry in a non-stock class.
I bought it in July, for a winter project.
As I remember there were specific rules as to how far along a build can be etc upon entry…pictures of your starting pile with a certain item so they know it’s current….and about 6 different classes….and a time frame which always seemed way to long….
Now would be the time to change whatever kept folks from entering.
Judging seems to always lead to disagreements.
Maybe a class with a limit on the build’s cost.

I think money time and lack of willing participants stopped it….you always had 30 sign up and about 10 finish…always stating family obligations…can’t find or make parts etc…
So why can't we change the rules to avoid all of the confusion? I have been reading the 2020 thread. I see now what you all meant. The fun got drained out of the whole contest.
