Who Remembers the PMR Jackshaft Kit?

#1
I've read extensively about the PMR jackshaft kit made for the doodlebugs and sold through this site by a member. As far as I can tell he has closed up shop. not sure if hes still an active member.
either way I really want one and I think I've been able to find most parts on BMI but their aluminum plate is slightly different.
has anyone else tried this?

Hey! thanks for the reply, this is my 1st post.
I should add some background. I couldn't find a 30 series TC for a 5/8 shaft to fit on the origanal 2.8 Lifan. I'm not interested in a predator swap, I have one its awesome. this is for my wife. Even though you can sleeve the 5/8 shaft to fit a 3/4 bore. it gets awkward with the keyways.
which is what has led me to the Jackshaft set up.

The Coleman CT200U came with a steel jackshaft plate. It can be purchased as an assembly and you can use your 16mm or 5/8 clutch with it.
I like the little engines. I rode all over town with 3.5 horse power for about 6 years in the seventies.
Welcome the forum.
Have fun and be safe. Dave

That was Brad who owned Hotrodminibikes. He closed up shop some years back. That was a big loss to our hobby...
