Winter Storage procedure?

What is the proper procedure in storing a alcohol ingesting 5 hp briggs and stratton for the winter, as i will be gone for 6 months Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

youd definatly wana change your oil probably flush the sytem then clean the crab rel]al go emtyp the gas tank and clean it and make sure theres no way for any thing to get into the engine and you should be good to go

Do you live in a freezing climate with high humidity. You definatly want to get ALL the alcohol out of the tank. fill it to the top with gasoline after adding Stabil and plug the tank vent, and drain the carb bowl, unless you're using a pulse jet carb.

drain the alcohol, flush it with gas and then make sure all the gas is drained. it would be a good idea to put some fresh oil in it too.
