Wires for on/off switch

Where do the green and black wires coming from the on/off switch connect to....my nephews little axis mb200, same as coleman, wires have been cut on "accident" he says, lol

One wire goes to the coil and the other to engine ground. The green wire may be the ground wire. With the switch in the off position it's a closed circuit, in the on position an open circuit. The coil gets grounded out to stop the engine.

You can secure the ground with one of the nuts for the gas tank mount. You should see a black wire that goes on top of the engine under the gas tank. That's the coil wire.

Ok....I'm assuming the coil is probably hard to get to?

See my edit on my first comment. You shouldn't need to get to the coil. If you can't see the black wire running up and under the gas tank then you would have to pull the tank and blower housing off to find the wire. Tank first.

So I see the black wire, should it go to the green or black wire off my switch

Either would work but use black for the coil and green for the ground.
