I have an ARCO frame that is in pretty rough shape. The engine plate is junk and the forks are "high speed" forks with re-bar welded down the sides.
I would rather start with a nice set of forks that are not bent, than to grind off all the rebar and try to straighten them. Something tells me these were straightened several times and I would hate to go through all that work just to find out they are are weak.
If anyone has a set or knows where I can get a good set of ARCO forks, I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a pic of the frame:
