WTS: Suzuki Trail Hopper

#1
I am going to sell the 1970 Suzuki Trail Hopper as I have run out of time this summer. I was told it ran good when parked and should have the carb cleaned out and new gas put in. The seat could use a new cover but it has good compression and mechanically seems sound. Local pickup is the only way it can be had as I hurt my back 2 weeks ago also. $400 picked up here
in Muskegon. Mich.

Don't mean to interrupt, but if that bike has original orange body pieces, it's a 1971 model Trailhopper. 1971 MT-50R, to be exact. There were no 1970 model Trailhoppers. 1972's were blue/white, 1973's were green/white.

The neck tag has a 1970 on it. Maybe that was when it was made and made for 1971
year??? Anyway it needs a new home before the snow flies around here. GM

That's exactly right. Manufactured in 1970 to be a 1971 model.

1971 Trailhopper frames started at serial number MT50-10001.

1972 Trailhopper frames started at serial number MT50-28456.

Yours should be somewhere in between.
