So here's my problem.....I bought an 11hp engine with a 1" drive shaft. I bought a 1" comet clutch for it, but then found out that the engine will not fit my frame.

My parts showed up a fews days ago so I finally got to start working on modding my engine for the longtail boat motor build.
When I installed the gasket and air filter adapter, there is barely 1 thread left to engage the nut that holds the assembly together. Is this typical??

Does anyone have a picture of the sprocket adapter? I have the Manco one on my Manco wheel. The Sensation one is 3 bolt also but they don't interchange. I may have the adapter here someplace but I'm not sure. I did find both wheels (one beadblasted, with new tire and tube installed), sprockets...

I have a take off carb from a HF 6.5 clone. It is brand new, only gas run through it was from the factory. I installed a .92mm jet and it will also come with a brand new hi flow air filter adapter. The adapter has the nice thick rubber coated gasket to allow proper spacing for the choke lever...
I have one of those crappy looking and breathing air boxes on my Flathead because if I put a normal filter on it will hit the frame rail, if I made an adapter that bent 90 degrees from the carb and then attached an air filter to the adapter do you think that it would inhibit air flow? Any advice...
I recently purchased a tillotson to experiment with a 6.5 clone i have. i know i need to purchase the tilly adapter to bolt to the engine, but do i need a special gasket to make the connection between the adapter and the carb? or to the engine as well?
Hey guys,just wanted to know if hooking up my fuel pump to the valve cover is sufficient?I know it would be better on the carb adapter with the pulse fitting but thats not an option for me.I just want to know if someone is using this method and what your opinion is.thanks guys.
