I want to run a 1 inch live axle on my mini drag bike. I believe I'm going to use a 6x6 rim. Question is what back space do I need? Or do I get a centered rim. Also what would the ideal tire size be?(slick) thx.

I have a live axle that someone crushed the threaded ends, would it be smart just to drill and tap a hole into the middles of the axle then put a big bolt and a flat washer on it? Or should I just take the axle off and have them re-cut?

Does anyone have a live axle minibike? My scratch build is live axle, but were any bikes ever produced to be live axle? Are there any disadvantages?
