If the black on the frame is original and it does have the correct 71' rear sprocket, It could be a black widow but the one thing that that throws it off is that it has the reflector brackets where the shock mounts are and the black widow never had those.

It may still be a black widow,even with reflector brackets,if it was originally sold in Canada.Regulations up here demand such bikes have reflectors,so importers often put them on themselves to make them legally sellable.

Too bad there's no way to track a bikes history.What a story some would have to tell.

that is a roadster 2 the red rear fender kind of gives it away, and you need a colmet style clutch the run on the engine. The belt pully wont cut it!

you should have seen the mint restored black widow they gave away at windber this year! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyy!!!!! The guy who won it wasnt even there but now he has to fihure out how to get from minisota to windber PA to pick it up.
