Funny what a few years can do to a mini bike

Hi Mr. Pat, dunno if you're still on here or not, but this post answers my question of what happened to it. Hope you're well!

    CT200U jetting

.031" is a #68 bit in my pin vise. I also have a stock airbox, and the short under seat header with bologna muffler. Though, I'm thinking about finding a 224 muffler for less noise. Gives me a good place to start, thank you! EVERY 212 Hemi I have ever owned....the first thing I do is...

    CT200U jetting

Hmm. Ok, well guess I'll have to get used to it. .036-037 main....was that with significant mods? I just have the under seat header and bologna muffler at this time.

    CT200U jetting

Starts one pull cold....no problem. Choking to hot start has always irritated me. I guess I'm just used to my old Hemis and them starting hot after a jet tweak. It runs great otherwise....good response, no flat spots or hesitation. Need to read my plug soon and see where the main is and...

    CT200U jetting

I had already done that and it did nothing. Even after drilling the jet it still needs choke to restart when the air mixture is set correctly.

    CT200U jetting

I was tuning on the CT200U today, and am wondering where I should be with jetting. First, I ditched the stock EPA carb and got the non-EPA carb from OldMiniBikes Warehouse, along with their underseat header and screw in muffler. The stock pilot jet on this carb is .016. Dug out my pin vise set and went...

    Predator 224 differences?

I appreciate all the info. It sounds like I don't have to "build" it at all. Maybe swap the fan/starter cup/tins for the 196 stuff (I also don't like the bulky looking 224 tins.) Reading more, it looks like the 212 Hemi metal cam fits the 224 if folks are upset about the plastic.

    Predator 224 differences?

Box stock..........do you think they would tolerate 4500 rpm all day with a stock flywheel and plastic geared cam? I just did my gear ratio chart and with my 44 tooth sprocket (8.8:1 overall ratio) I need 4500 rpm to get me at 30mph. (I'm not building a speed queen...just a torquey backyard...

    Predator 224 differences?

Excellent info....thank you. I just read that ARC page earlier today. I see what everyone means now. Funny how HF is putting Hemi's in non-Hemi boxes....they're doing that with 212's too. I went to my HF today for a tool and every 69730 with the "regular" 212 pic on the box contained a...

    Predator 224 differences?

Morning, I've been reading into the Predator 224 engines, and I have a few questions. Apparently there is a Hemi version, and it appears undesirable. Why? Second, the non-Hemi version seems to have some balance issues and also a loose flywheel nut due to the thicker cooling fan. Has this...

    CT200U/Viper HS200??

Indeed. I had a RSV last year and it was a chonker. I don't mind the Viper at all....lighter, and still easy to ride despite the higher center of gravity. One day I would like to ride the B200R to compare directly. 5 years ago, I had a Coleman RT200 (Same bike just in camo.) I liked how it rode...

    CT200U/Viper HS200??

Well I'll be dipped.....that's a very creative solution.

    CT200U/Viper HS200??

Ended up buying it. Dunhams had a flash sale that day, it was $599.99. I was also able to use my 17% off coupon after some bickering. Heck of a deal if you ask me!! Bike is built but I'm still doing the pre-delivery inspection and I need some rec fuel for the season. It's identical to the...

    CT200U/Viper HS200??

Yes, this is the one. They're on sale and I have a coupon....might go get one today. Didn't find anything about the Ch. 11. What happened?

    CT200U/Viper HS200??

Been a while since I was here. Last year, I ended up getting rid of my Coleman B200RSV. Even after an engine swap, it was a rattly, uncomfortable machine and I didn't like it at all. Two years ago, I owned a Coleman CT200U. I regret selling that bike, actually....it was just fine. My...
