Im wondering if you could help me find a part for a 5hp briggs that i picked up.
It has a hole in the base of the carb and in the gas tank. I came across chazdaddys post where he had the same issue (posted 8/11/12)
He mentioned that you helped him find a part to plug the whole. Do you recall the part number or was it just a plug found at the hardware store?

thanks for the advice on the carb and the offer of parts. i think im going to pick up an aftermarket carb. but not sure which one would be compatible with the engine. looking to spend under $30. any advice would be great. thanks joe
