well basically the tap for the pulse line on the carb manifold leaks air and makes the engine bog out because its leaning out the mixture. I want to know what kind of sealant would be the best to make sure no air escapes from where the pulse line is taped into the carb manifold. Thank you...

Ok so I had a inyake made for my mikuni and found out engine port on the intake flange bolt holes were too big.so I modified it to work. I have for sale a Genuine 26mm Mikuni carb kit. It includes the carb, a short style manifold used on a GX-200 clone, an air cleaner, and a couple of extra jets. I decided to go to a Flat Slide carb so this one has to go. Here's your chance to own a 26mm carb kit for less than the price of a 22...

They say the flatslides provide cosiderable performance gains vs the roundslides. What is the difference in performance between the 26mm roundslide and the 24mm flatslide? is it worth the extra dough?

Using a 26mm Fleabay roundslide Fake Kehin on my clone that has a 1.5" OD flange and an angled filter from OldMiniBikes Warehouse that's 2 1/2" ID. Any insight from anyone on the adaptor that I need? I think my 22mm has a smaller OD on it. Thanks in advance! :thumbsup::biggrin:

I need a vm 26mm mikuni body... I don't need any other parts from the carb, just the main body... I bought one off ebay and the stantion that the pin goes through for the float bracket is snapped off at the hole...:doah: must be a true spigot mount vm and not the cheapline taper bore..

Does any one know what intake adapter to use for a 26mm round slide mikuni for a 6.5 clone?

Got ax EX27 9hp RS engine, 1" keyed shaft, been disassembled, thouroughly cleaned inside and out, honed, block painted, P/P head, valve job, reassembled, new 26mm carb, new 8mm wire, ready for oil and fuel... gotta grab pics yet... $150 plus shipping or pick it up..
