26mm mikuni help

Ok so I had a inyake made for my mikuni and found out engine port on the intake flange bolt holes were too big.so I modified it to work. Hooked it up and found out I had a gas leak so I doubled up the gaskets and that solved it. I got it to idle and free rec good but when I sit on it and give it throttle it bogs down and then picks back up. Do I need bigger jets or do I need to just trash the intake?

sounds like you need to do some adjusting...start with changing the needle clip location, probably need to drop the clip down a notch or two.. Is this a true 26mm spigot mount Mikuni or one of the flange mounted knock offs?

Yeah I had a gasket leak and had to move needle clip to the center. Now I just have to adjust mixture. It's a mikuni made in china, so im guessing knockoff. I think the real ones are from Japan or something like that.
