Anyone know if the 68 Rupp TT500 spark plug had a plug boot or not from the factory? I remember my fathers lawnmower from 67 or 68 with a Tecumseh and the plug had no boot. If you look up Tecumseh 65151h diagram, Rupp engine, it doesnt show a boot. Any input or comments are appreciated.
We do not have the originals. What are you using to secure the front fork shock boots to the fork tubes? Anything other/better than those stainless steel hose clamps?
Michael
**Edit: Another method that might work would be the stainless steel zip ties, if I could get them tight enough?
I bought these while trying to find something comparable to replace the original failing fork boots on a Fox campus I am in the process of rebuilding, far from a dead on match but not a bad look to them and they are built well and should be doable. I stumbled into an NOS set of boots and some...
Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have one of the original type ,cone shaped, sparkplug boots for a folding Go Devil? I can use something else, but they are cool looking. Kerry
Times our tough lol
Had a blow out today on my left boot
So I filled that sucker with clear silicone and taped it up lol
I guess its time for a new pair of boots
I have one boot now but need the other, I would take two if you have a pair to be sure they match... must be in good condition. if anyone knows of a good substitute, please let me know... these may not be easy for me to find. jim
