I recently purchased this briggs 6hp engine but I'm wondering if I have something wrong the top speed is about 20mph. No mods or anything has been done to this motor completely stock. The minibike it sits on is also very light. Is this normal speed for this motor. Thanks

My 18hp intec valves won't stay adjusted. It will run good for one or two runs then the thing won't crank. I adjust the valves and it will do fine. What can I do to keep them from coming loose? Locktight?
