Hello, I have a HM80-155042A original for my Super Bronc that has a very loose governor shaft.. been looking for a replacement but cant determine the proper part number to look for. I keep coming up with a 33626C, but when I look around using that number I keep finding the bushing...

    Dual PTO Briggs

This is my first post here, and everyone likes pictures, right? Picked up a cool old Briggs on a broken tiller the other day. I'm trying to stretch my imagination, and figure out what the heck to do with a dual PTO engine. It runs, and I threw one of those hot dog mufflers on there, but it...

    Rupp TC-1 Installation

I have an HS40, but the PTO is rusty. Installing the PTO bolt that holds the TC-1 in place is proving difficult; it may need to be re-tapped. The question is how deep is the bolt supposed to go into the shaft? The bolt is about 2 inches long and is threaded the entire length, but is seems to...

    Craftsman Tecumseh opposite side PTO?

Doesn't this motor look like the PTO is on the other side? Unless they mounted the carb in front? This just struck me as odd when I looked at it. Did Tecumseh make any like that? The writing on the decal on the shoot is not reversed so its not the pic.

    Cam Shaft PTO

I cut down the cam shaft because it stuck out of the side case. This is temporary as I will be changing out the side case soon. The new side case will not have the hole for the cam shaft to protrude through. So can I cut down the cam shaft to fit or do I need to buy a different one? Thanks...

Another one for you Side Poppin' Fans

Picked this up on the way home last night. Good deals continue to flow from the I-need-to-get-rid-of-this-snow-blower-now-that-winter's-over crowd. I'm more than happy to help. Nice running Craftsman Tecumseh 3.5 HP. 1969, if numbers are to be believed. Incredible condition for such an...

Clutch band brake idea for JBRocks

So ol' JBRocks attached his clutch brake to a 1/4" bolt which would have led to a failure one sort or another. I suggested he make a bracket to attach to the four holes that surround the PTO...BUT! JB had the side cover without those four holes. That got me to thinking! I sat down first and...
