1960 Briggs 2hp flathead

picked this up this morning. It appears to be a 1960 2hp flathead (or maybe 2.5hp?) Seems to be in pretty good condition, everything is pretty much there. Pulls over nice, decent compression, the inside of the tank is clean!

Serial No: 6006010

Not sure what this will go on yet but i couldn't pass it up (only 10 minute drive) :laugh:

yah, seller listed it as a 3.5hp :eek:ut:
but once i got it home and checked it out i figured 2hp.

It's not getting very good spark, do i have to pull the flywheel to check the
points and condenser that are behind it??

okay, that's what i figured. had some trouble pulling the flywheel off the other night but i'll search some youtube vids, i don't have any of the special tools some peeps have.

also the fuel pickup tube should have a screen on the bottom of it correct? I think this one is missing so i'll have to figure something out for that, pretty sure it's supposed to have one but didn't want to drop the tank on my other engine to be sure.
