1970 Taco 100

#1
This all started when I bought a '61 Dart kart at a garage sale as a fun kart. I soon learned it was too desirable to make into a fun kart and eventually I decided I was never going to make it to a vintage kart event and building up a vintage go kart didn't really make a lot of sense. I had already purchased a HF Predator 212cc engine and a Maxtorque clutch so I figured I should sell the kart and buy a minibike to put the engine on. This minibike came along so I picked it up. I've since learned that it's probably a 1970 Taco 100, but the serial number is gone.

Issues
No throttle assembly
No brake cable
Apparently the rear shocks and brake assembly are wrong
The Robertson torque tube I already have doesn't fit in the frame... yet
Tires are the wrong size
No kickstand
No foot pegs
Flat black paint job falls off easily

My Plan
Get the exhaust problem worked out (heat and bend existing pipe or replace with a pipe that fits)
Work out throttle and brake cables
Hook up the chain and go for a spin
