3hp coil?

I have a 3hp coil that just dont wanna work. I would like to get them new(hate messin with used crap). If u can please leave a link to ebay or OldMiniBikes that would be great. I need two of them.

flatty? did you check the points and wires? coil might be ok.

Is it a 2 post coil or a 4 post coil. They aren't interchangeable. could you post a pic?

Actually used is the only way to go.. The coil pretty well never goes out on these motors.. It's your points, or you're doing it wrong..

999,999 out of 1,000,000 briggs small block coils still work.. :shrug:

You have an updated coil so the flywheel should be right. Part #398593 is a magnatron coil that doesn't need points. There are several on e-bay. I prefer briggs parts as compared to the aftermarket substitutes.
