5hp flathead Throttle hookup

Have 5hp briggs flathead with the gas tank mounted to the carb.has the upper and lower throttle and choke hand levers.
I hate the way my throttle is hooked up directly to the top part of the butterfly. This makes the throttle pull way too long; I have to regrip the throttle handle(grip) and twist some more to hit full throttle.
Any pictures or suggestions of some good set ups?
