I have a straight one also but the port on the manifold is shaped like a "D". The port on the engine is rounded. The angled manifold is rounded also. The straight one I have must be for a different year.

8 inch rims really make a huge difference in the trail riding capabilities of those frames...even more so on the 7/8" tube frames.

And how.. :thumbsup: I have a Bonanza like 250 or something early small bike that I put a set of 8 inch steels (front CT-70 rear Rockford Chibi) on... and the mushroom bike rides like a dream... It needed to be able to travel several miles cross country roads, yet be rugged in the trails and hills... I also had to ad some treated 2X12 footpegs (more of a platform) towards the back just for comfort sake. The 5 horse briggs won't allow you to use the factory pegs. :doah: But man you aint just a kidding about ride and comfort. The Mushroom Bonanza rocks the trails.
