After market throttle HELP

Was wondering why the idle is so high cant seem to figure out how to adjust it, the screw is set where i want it but the throttle is half open

Did you trim the top of the black plastic piece on the carb? It needs to be flat. If not, It will not let the new linkage piece return to idle.

This one is more broken than trimmed smoothly but hopefully you can see what I mean.

Might I suggest that OldMiniBikes does a few installation videos for the items that have these little tweaks that need to be done. Maybe a link where you see the item online for sale.

When I bought that same kit thu another vendor it came with an instruction sheet. Not sure if the ones supplied by OldMiniBikes come with the same sheet. Often wonder if people actually read the instructions anyways.

I had gotten a kit before and it didn't come with any directions. Maybe it was a packing error where it was made.

I just used a fine grit sandpaper to sand it down to what I needed it to be, I ordered mine on ebay for like 10$
